Reporting a Child’s Absence
Here at Merenfeld we wish our children to come to school every day so that chidlren do not fall behind with their learning.
However we recognise that children will be poorly and need to spend time at home to recover
If your child is ill we ask that you contact the office every morning that they are off school

Please leave the name of your child, their class and reason for absence
If a child’s absence has not been reported we will call home to find why they are not in school.
We do make visits out to children’s homes as part of our safeguarding culture.
